أَمْ خُلِقُوا۟ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ

am khuliqū min ghayri shayin am humu l-khāliqūna

Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?
